Epiphany of Our Lord’s resident choral ensemble
The music program at Epiphany of Our Lord is a vigorous one - we focus heavily on Gregorian Chant, Renaissance (though not exclusively) polyphony, and classic hymnody in Latin and the vernacular.
Epiphany of Our Lord is an affiliate of the Royal School of Church Music, and we employ the Voice for Life program to teach children (at least old enough to read fluently) music theory and choral etiquette. The Young Choristers meet on Fridays (12p-1p) during the choir season in addition to rehearsing with the full ensemble.
General rehearsal is on Tuesday evenings (6:30p-8:30p) and the schola sings for the Sunday High Mass (10:30a with a rehearsal beforehand), monthly choral vespers, and all major liturgies throughout the year.
Can you or someone you know carry a tune? Are you, or they, looking for a musical outlet and a satisfying time with other musicians while praising God? We’d love to talk with you!
Any interested parties should reach out to Anders Bergmann ([email protected]) to schedule an audition.
