For Bulletin and/or Flocknote Submission
Complete the submission form at least one month ahead of time to allow for the communications coordinator to work it into the bulletin. This also gives parishioners time to plan ahead if you are trying to advertise for an event.
***********
IF YOU HAVE A RECURRING EVENT YOU MUST SUBMIT A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH PUBLICATION DATE.
***********
Length: A good rule of thumb is to keep your item between 100 and 150 words. Any submission over 150 words will be returned to the ministry or group to be shortened and resubmitted.
Artwork (File upload): Using artwork will increase the exposure of your event because people naturally look at clip art, logos, and photos first on any page. If you have a photo or logo to include with your event, please email it to [email protected] with the title of your article. All artwork must be formatted as .jpg or .png images, which are most compatible with printed publications.
Timing: Due to very limited space in the bulletin please allow for adequate time between submission and when you would like the article published. Please note that Parish news, Parish office news, and Diocesan requirements will take precedent over ministry submissions or other submissions.
